International Orders - Responsibility for Customs Charges Clients are responsible for customs charges. Some people try to avoid customs taxes by refusing to pick up their orders that are held by customs, then tell us that they never received their order. They hope that a resent order will slip by customs and they can avoid the taxes. Then, after we resend the order, the original order is returned from the Customs Officials in their country. In one case, we resent an order 5 times and it was returned from customs each time. In cases of orders not picked up from Customs or the Post Office, there is no refund allowed.
